BTC-S37: the riser-free 8 GPU mining motherboard

The BTC-S37 is a complete mining platform rather than a classic motherboard: the Celeron 847 is soldered on, its cooler is fitted, and the 8 PCIe x16 slots are spaced 60 mm apart so that graphics cards plug straight into the board. No risers, no riser cables, no riser failures — the most common fault on GPU rigs disappears.

It takes one SO-DIMM DDR3 module (laptop RAM), an mSATA or SATA drive, and powers from a standard 24-pin ATX plus 8-pin connectors. We mount it in our 8 GPU BTC-S37 racks and in the closed BTC-S37 case; it is also the base of our RTX 4060 Ti / 4070 rig builds.

FAQ

Why choose the BTC-S37 instead of a classic board with risers?

Each riser is a point of failure and an extra 4–6 W. On the BTC-S37 the eight GPUs sit directly on the PCB, so the rig is more stable, more compact and easier to cool.

Which RAM and storage does it need?

One SO-DIMM DDR3 or DDR3L module (4 or 8 GB) and an mSATA SSD or a SATA SSD. We sell both as a ready pack with the board.

How is the BTC-S37 powered?

Through the 24-pin ATX connector plus the 8-pin CPU/auxiliary connectors. Use a PSU with enough PCIe 6+2 cables for your GPUs: 2000 W or 2500 W for eight mid-range cards.

Does it work with HiveOS?

Yes. HiveOS, RaveOS and Windows are all supported; we test every board under HiveOS before shipping.
