Nvidia LHR/non-LHR (Light Hash Rate) Summary

by Romain Schlick 29 Sep 2021

Here is a summary table of Nvidia LHR and non-LHR models.

LHR for Light Hash Rate means that the card has been restricted for mining on Ethereum, and on some other cryptos (eg: Ergo).
Some cryptocurrencies are not restricted at all by LHR, such as Ravencoin, Flux, Conflux, or Firo.

All models below the RTX 3000 series are non-LHR , such as the GTX 1060, 1660 Super, 1070, 1080 and the RTX 2000 series (2060, 2070, 2080).

Regarding the RTX 3000 series:

On FE (Founder edition) models all cards are non-LHR except the latest 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti.

All 3090s are non-LHR.

On custom models, since July most are LHR (sometimes indicated "V2")

Here is a summary table:

30XX Founder Edition Custom
3060 N / A LHR V1 / LHR V2
3060 Ti Non-LHR LHR
3070 Non-LHR LHR
3070 Ti LHR LHR
