Profitability calculators: ASIC mining and GPU rental
Two tools to estimate what your hardware can earn: cryptocurrency mining with an ASIC, and renting out a graphics card for artificial intelligence. Market data updated every hour.
These calculators give an indicative forecast based on current market conditions. They are not a reliable source nor a guarantee of income: prices, difficulty, demand and your real costs can change the results a lot.
Pick a cryptocurrency and a miner, or enter your machine's hashrate and power draw, then add your electricity price: we estimate your net profit per day, month and year, and your payback time, using network data updated every hour.

How do we calculate profitability?
A miner's revenue depends on its share of its cryptocurrency network's total hashrate: every unit of hashrate (TH/s, GH/s, kSol/s…) earns a daily amount that moves with the price, network difficulty and transaction fees. We update these figures every hour.
Electricity cost is simple: power draw in kW × 24 hours × price per kWh. Net profit is revenue, after the pool fee, minus that electricity bill.
Payback time counts the months needed to recover the purchase price from net profit. If you enter a difficulty increase, revenue falls slightly each month and the calculation takes it into account.
Our tips for profitable mining
Electricity price is everything: compare your rate with the break-even price shown. Surplus solar power, small hydro or our hosting let you mine at a much lower cost.
Favour efficiency (J/TH) over raw hashrate: a more efficient machine stays profitable longer as difficulty rises.
Keep a margin: the bitcoin price moves, difficulty rises and the next halving, expected in 2028, will cut the block reward in half.
These results are a forecast based on current network conditions, not a reliable source: they do not include tax, maintenance or future changes in prices and difficulty, and are neither a guarantee of income nor investment advice.

How are these figures calculated?
Rental price: median price asked per hour and per GPU by the machines offered for rent, converted to euros at the ECB rate.
Income: rental price × 24 h × occupancy rate, after the rental platform's commission.
Electricity: typical power draw of the card under load (and at idle when it is not rented) × your price per kWh.
Not included: CPU, memory and storage of the host machine, internet connection, maintenance and taxes.
Frequently asked questions
Which occupancy rate should I use?
A reliable, well-connected machine offered at a fair price is often rented 50 to 80% of the time. Start with 60% for a cautious estimate.
Why do GPUs with more memory earn more?
Recent AI models need a lot of VRAM: cards with 24 GB or more are the most sought after and rent for more per hour.
Can you host and manage my GPUs?
Yes: Happy Mining can host your machines on its premises and advise you on the most profitable configuration. Contact us for a quote.
