Flight sheet
In HiveOS, a flight sheet is a configuration profile that brings together a rig's coin, wallet, pool and mining software.
The term flight sheet comes from HiveOS. It is a mining recipe saved in your account. It specifies which coin to mine, which wallet to send the rewards to, which pool to connect to and which mining software to use. Once created, it can be applied in a single click to one rig or to several at once.
The benefit is mostly practical. Without a flight sheet, you would have to enter the pool address, port, wallet and worker name on every machine. With one, this information is centralized: to switch pool or coin, you edit the sheet or apply another one, and all the rigs concerned switch over together. You can keep several flight sheets ready, for example one per algorithm, and move from one to another as needed.
To create a flight sheet without mistakes, first add your wallet in HiveOS, then choose the coin, the pool and the server closest to you, and finally a mining program compatible with your graphics cards. A wrongly copied wallet address can cost you your rewards: copy and paste it rather than retyping it, and double-check it. After applying the sheet, check on the pool's dashboard that the worker shows up and that its hashrate matches the rig's.
